I was struck by Rev. Jamal Bryants eulogy for Freddie Gray on April 27th, and it was a loop that played in my head throughout my time in Baltimore. I disagree with some of what he says, particularly about saggy pants and neck tattoos, but that isn't the point. The point is, what we see in Baltimore is eulogy. It's mourning, it's hurt, it's anger, it's remembering.

After 8 days of assignment in Baltimore [April 26-May 3] I wanted to reframe some of the footage that I had shot, particularly images of unrest that hundreds of thousands of people viewed, providing pundits the necessary visuals for their articulation of the "black problem."
